Ian does not let his position of Managing Director of Rutherford Wilkinson Ltd and Head of Group Pensions for Perspective Financial Group get in his way when it comes to helping clients.
As well as heading the very successful corporate department, which offers advice on the whole range of employee benefits, Ian also acts for a select number of High Net Worth private clients of RW and McGregors Wealth Management.
He has a particular specialism in developing strategies for companies and trustees looking to control costs in final salary pension schemes, and as project manager has attained noteworthy success in cost reductions and winding up pension schemes for substantially less than buy out cost.
Ian has acted as independent trustee for corporate pension schemes on a number of occasions and holds the G60 Advanced Pensions qualification and the Diploma in Financial Planning.
