We recognise that areas of advice have become far more complex over recent years, following changes in legislation, and believe that advice at the highest level can not be provided by the typical "general practitioner" adviser.
The merger of Wilkinson Hatton and Rutherford Financial Management in 2002, and our subsequent expansion to what Rutherford Wilkinson Ltd is today, has given us sufficient capacity and expertise to enable the establishment of the separate departments. These are headed by Rutherford Wilkinson advisers who specialise in those particular areas. This strategy has allowed us to offer a more in-depth, knowledgeable and bespoke financial advice service to our clients. These specialist teams are supported by our technical director, Mike Gordon, who is experienced across all areas of financial advice.
We are one of the few firms that have achieved Chartered Financial Planners designation by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the much coveted gold standard for the financial advice industry.
